
MOSCOW, September 30 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Russia will continue to assist its Abkhaz partners in addressing pressing tasks of state-building and socio-economic development, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.
The Russian president sent a telegram to Abkhaz President Badra Gunba on the occasion of Victory and Independence Day, noting that relations between the countries are allied in nature.
Russia will continue to provide active assistance to its Abkhaz partners in addressing urgent tasks of state-building and socio-economic development, Putin said in a congratulatory telegram released by the Kremlin.
Putin expressed confidence that relations between Russia and Abkhazia will continue to strengthen for the benefit of the peoples of both states, as well as in the interests of ensuring regional stability and security.
