ANKARA, September 23 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Turkey is ready to provide a platform for the summit between Russia and the United States, if the parties make such a request, a source in the Turkish cabinet told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump said that he could meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin again, adding that he is discussing with his Russian counterpart the terms of a possible peace agreement on Ukraine.

Turkey is ready to organize a meeting between Trump and Putin and provide all necessary opportunities for this, if both sides send a corresponding request. Ankara is ready to provide the necessary assistance for holding such a meeting, the source said.
