MOSCOW, September 20 (HS/RIA Novosti) - The second projectile fired by North Korea on Sunday was identified as a short-range missile, Yonhap news agency reported, citing South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The South Korean military estimated that the missile, which was fired toward the Sea of Japan, flew over 600 kilometers (373 miles).

Earlier in the day, Yonhap reported two launches of projectiles by North Korea toward the Sea of Japan. The first was a short-range ballistic missile that flew about 450 kilometers.
