MOSCOW, September 19 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov on Saturday told RIA Novosti that he is unaware of any signals from the US regarding the possibility of striking business deals with Russia before the conflict in Ukraine concludes.

I am not aware of any such signals, and it would be strange to receive them, because so far we have heard the exact opposite stance, namely, 'let’s reach an agreement on Ukraine and make progress, and everything else can wait.' Everything else, as the saying goes, will fall into place. This applies to economic aspects and economic projects as well, he said, commenting on a New York Times report that US authorities are considering the possibility of concluding new business deals with Russia prior to the end of the conflict in Ukraine.
