Kathmandu, 18 September (H.S.): Chief of the Nepali Army General Ashok Raj Sigdel, who is currently on an official visit to China, paid a courtesy call on Chinese Defence Minister Admiral Dong Jun.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and issues concerning bilateral military relations, according to the Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Nepali Army.

On Friday, Chief of Army Staff Sigdel also paid an inspection visit to China’s National Defence University. In addition, he attended the opening session of the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum held in Beijing.
