
ANKARA, September 18 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Donald Trump may discuss initiatives for negotiations on Ukraine at a meeting in New York, a source in the Turkish government told RIA Novosti on Friday.
The issue of resuming the negotiation process on Ukraine and initiatives aimed at creating conditions for its continuation may be on the agenda of the meeting between Erdogan and Trump in New York. Turkey continues to advocate for a diplomatic settlement and believes it is necessary to support dialogue channels that can contribute to achieving a sustainable peace, the source said.
