MOSCOW, August 28 (HS/RIA Novosti) -The damage from the floods in Nepal could amount to several billion dollars, Finance Minister of Nepal Swarnim Wagle said on Friday.

Cumulatively, I think the losses and damages when they will be finally quantified in a week or so, will amount to at least a few billion dollars, Wagle told Bloomberg Television.

The minister added that preliminary estimates of damages are quite worrying.
