MOSCOW, August 24 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Three teenagers were killed and 12 people were injured in an overnight Ukrainian drone attack on Russia's Krasnodar, with drone debris falling on a private children's center, regional authorities said on Monday.

Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev initially said two children were killed and seven others injured after debris from a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone fell on the private children's center.

The number of casualties later increased. Russian Children's Rights Commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova said three teenagers had preliminarily died in the attack.

The regional crisis response center subsequently reported that the number of people wounded in the overnight attack had risen to 12.

The attack also targeted civilian commercial infrastructure. A logistics center of Russian online marketplace Ozon in Krasnodar was attacked by a drone, forcing employees to evacuate. The company said there were no casualties among its employees.

Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik described the attack as a war crime and said the strike on the children's center was deliberate.

The attack comes amid continued Ukrainian drone strikes on targets inside Russia, with Russian authorities reporting repeated attacks on civilian and commercial infrastructure.
