
Bhubaneswar, 16 August (H.S.): Odisha Deputy Chief Minister K.V. Singh Deo inaugurated need-based infrastructure development works at Tamian and Solabandh under the Patnagarh Regulated Market Committee (RMC), aimed at strengthening paddy procurement facilities for farmers.
The initiatives are expected to address long-standing difficulties faced by farmers in Tamia and adjoining areas by improving the infrastructure required for smooth and efficient procurement of paddy.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said the development works would provide greater convenience to farmers and contribute to a more efficient procurement system in the region.
He also emphasised the government’s commitment to the overall development and welfare of farmers and ensuring that they receive fair and appropriate prices for their agricultural produce.
The infrastructure projects at both locations are expected to strengthen local procurement facilities and help farmers access better market support closer to their areas.
