New Delhi, 12 August (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday praised the role and spirit of service among the country’s youth, saying that young people are not only the future of the nation but also one of its greatest strengths in the present.
PM Modi shared a Sanskrit subhashita on X, highlighting how a person’s outlook, thoughts, words and actions can help win the hearts and minds of people.
“Chakshusha manasa vacha karmana cha chaturvidham. Prasadayati yo lokam tam loko’nuprasidati,” the Prime Minister wrote while sharing the verse.
The subhashita conveys the message that a person who wins people’s hearts through their vision, thoughts, words and conduct earns their trust, respect and goodwill in return.
PM Modi, in this context, also emphasised the contribution of young Indians, saying that their sensitivity, spirit of service and capabilities are helping them establish a distinct identity for themselves across the world.
The Prime Minister’s message underlined the importance of positive conduct and selfless service in building trust and strengthening relationships between individuals and society.
