New Delhi, 11 August (H.S.): Rachnatmak Congress will hold its two-day national convention at the Constitution Club in New Delhi from Wednesday, with discussions focusing on issues concerning society and the public, including education, social justice, economic justice, unemployment and the environment.

Around 400 delegates from across the country are expected to participate on the first day, while nearly 600 representatives are scheduled to attend the proceedings on the second day.

Rachnatmak Congress president Sandeep Dikshit said at a press conference on Tuesday that the first day of the convention would focus on the organisation and its strategy. The discussions held on the opening day would be reviewed on the second day, following which Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi would address the gathering.

Dikshit said both days would feature open sessions during which members of the public would be invited to raise questions and receive responses. He described Rachnatmak Congress as a platform that brings together people working on social, economic and political issues.

He said the organisation seeks to engage with people who are working at the grassroots level and striving to bring meaningful changes to people's lives.

Dikshit further said the first day's session, originally scheduled to begin at 10 am, had been rescheduled to noon due to preparations for Independence Day. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will address the gathering at the beginning of the programme, while Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to interact with participants after 2 pm.
