
New Delhi, 11 August (H.S.): Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin and several other leaders on Tuesday paid tribute to revolutionary freedom fighter Khudiram Bose on his martyrdom anniversary.
Om Birla posted on X, paying his respectful tribute to the revolutionary martyr and saluting his supreme sacrifice. He said that the courage and sacrifice of the young freedom fighter, who willingly laid down his life for the motherland, would continue to inspire India’s national consciousness.
Amit Shah said Khudiram Bose had taken up the cause of armed revolution at a very young age in the struggle to free India from British rule. He said Bose’s courage, valour and sacrifice shook the foundations of the British Empire.
Shah noted that Khudiram Bose embraced the gallows at the age of just 18 with remarkable composure and courage. His life, he said, represents an enduring story of patriotism and supreme devotion that will continue to inspire generations of Indian youth with courage, self-respect and a spirit of national service.
BJP president Nitin Nabin said Khudiram Bose’s fearless personality and unwavering determination remain a source of inspiration for young people. His life, marked by patriotism, courage and supreme sacrifice, continues to inspire citizens to serve the nation and remain committed to the country.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said Khudiram Bose’s indomitable courage, unwavering patriotism and dedication to the nation would always hold a significant place in the history of India’s freedom struggle. He said the fearlessness and determination displayed by Bose at such a young age would continue to inspire future generations to uphold patriotism and the spirit of sacrifice.
Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said Bose’s life, dedicated to the service of the motherland, and his inspiring thoughts would continue to motivate young people towards national service.
Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh said the courage, dedication and patriotism of the revolutionary martyr, who sacrificed his life for India’s freedom at a very young age, would remain an enduring source of inspiration for the people of the country.
