Guwahati, 06 July (HS): Assam Legislative Assembly Speaker Ranjeet Kumar Dass on Monday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the House for becoming the longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister of India.

Addressing the Assembly, the Speaker said Prime Minister Modi has created a historic record by serving the longest uninterrupted tenure as the elected head of the Government of India. He extended the House's heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the landmark achievement.

The Speaker's remarks came during the ongoing Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly, acknowledging the Prime Minister's milestone and conveying the Assembly's appreciation on behalf of all its members.----------
