
NRI Affairs Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh to interact with overseas Punjabis for grievance redressal
Chandigarh, 06 July (H.S.): The Punjab Government will organise an “Online NRI Milni” on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM to address the grievances and concerns of Punjabis living abroad. The programme will be held under the leadership of Punjab NRI Affairs Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh.
Dr. Ravjot Singh said the initiative reflects the Punjab Government’s commitment to resolving the issues of the global Punjabi diaspora in a transparent and time-bound manner. He said the online platform will allow NRIs to directly interact with him and raise their grievances, suggestions and concerns.
The minister said all issues raised during the interaction will be taken up with the concerned departments and officials. Necessary directions will also be issued to ensure prompt and effective resolution of the matters brought before the government.
Dr. Ravjot Singh informed that NRIs who wish to participate can submit their grievances in advance through email at minister.pa@punjab.gov.in. They can also register for the Online NRI Milni through the official registration link provided by the department.
Registered participants will be able to join the online meeting on the scheduled date and time through the video conference link. The joining ID for the meeting is 6978389091 and the password is 968369.
Appealing to Punjabis living across the world to participate in large numbers, Dr. Ravjot Singh said the Punjab Government is fully committed to safeguarding the interests of the NRI community. He added that such regular interactive platforms will help ensure fair, transparent and time-bound redressal of their grievances.
