Guwahati, 06 July (HS): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday congratulated Dr. Habbe Teron on being elected unopposed as the Deputy Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly.

In a congratulatory message, the Chief Minister praised Dr. Teron as a dedicated and sincere public representative of the newly formed Amri constituency and the hill region. He expressed confidence that Dr. Teron would discharge his new responsibilities with efficiency, integrity and vision, further strengthening the rich democratic traditions of the Assam Legislative Assembly.
