Guwahati, 05 July (HS): Former Assam Congress president and BJP MLA Bhupen Bora on Saturday met Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and submitted a memorandum highlighting several key developmental demands for his constituency. Bora was talking to media persons after the meeting.

The memorandum sought the announcement of the foundation stone laying date for the Sub-Divisional Commissioner’s office, construction of 15 RCC bridges, upgradation of the Lakhimpur Polytechnic at Kherajkhat and strengthening of embankments in the area.

Bhupen Bora said the Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the proposals and directed the concerned departments to take immediate necessary action. He appreciated the Chief Minister’s positive approach towards the development of Assam and public welfare.

During the meeting, Bora’s son Pragyan and his friend Samriddha Singh also interacted with the Chief Minister and presented the vision and future plans of their startup, Acres.

Bhupen Bora expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for his time, encouragement, and support towards the development of the region.----------
