Sinnar, 27 July (HS):

The Food and Drugs Administration has permanently cancelled licence of Shivnath

Ayurved Products of Jaigaon in Sinnar Tehsli of Nashik District owned by Dr

Mohan Puri. The issue was raised and followed by the Andhashraddha Nirmoolan

Samiti (ANS) for illegally producing Ayurvedic Medicines.

ANS State Secretary Adv Ranjana Pagar-Gawande had

lodged a complaint against Dr Puri with the FDA. The FDA raided Shivnath

Ayurved Products’ factory and found substandard products and deficiencies in

production process. Various rules were also vilated by the company.

After hearing the reply to notice issued to Dr Puri,

the administration permanently cancelled licence of the company.
