Guwahati, 27 July (HS): Assam BJP spokesperson Ranjib Kumar Sharma on Monday accused Nilotpal Bora of attempting to create unrest through his Facebook Live broadcasts and termed him a virtual terrorist. Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters, Sharma alleged that Bora used abusive language against Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and beneficiaries of the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Sharma claimed Bora's recent Facebook Live suggested an intent to destabilise the state government, raising concerns that anti-Assam elements could exploit such statements. He urged Assam Police to keep a close watch on Bora's activities, especially at a time when the government is engaged in flood relief operations across Upper Assam.

Responding to a query on MLA Akhil Gogoi, Sharma also criticised his conduct in the Assam Legislative Assembly, alleging that he promotes disorder instead of adhering to parliamentary decorum.----------
