New Delhi, 25 July (H.S.): The entry gates of three major Delhi Metro stations—Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House and Central Secretariat—which had been closed due to security concerns and ongoing protests, were reopened to passengers at 3:44 pm on Saturday. However, several other Metro stations in central Delhi continue to remain closed or are operating with restricted access.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said in a post on X that the entry gates at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House and Central Secretariat Metro stations were reopened at 3:44 pm on Saturday.

With the reopening of the entry gates, passenger access has resumed normally at all three major interchange stations.

The closure of these stations had forced commuters to use alternative Metro stations or other entry points. The restoration of access is expected to provide significant relief to daily commuters, office-goers and other passengers, while also helping ease crowd management. It will also enable students participating in the protests to return to their homes more conveniently.
