He said Jhandu Kumar opened India’s medal account at the event by securing bronze in the men’s heavyweight para powerlifting competition.

It is worth noting that Indian para powerlifter Jhandu Kumar won bronze late on Friday night in the men’s heavyweight para powerlifting event, giving the country its first medal at the Games.
