
New Delhi, 25 July (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Nabin on Saturday reacted to the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, saying that during his tenure as Education Minister, he played a pivotal role in ushering in wide-ranging reforms in India's education system. He added that Pradhan successfully implemented several landmark initiatives, including the National Education Policy (NEP).
In a message shared on X, the BJP President said that by prioritising the larger public interest, Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation reflected the highest standards of integrity, accountability and selfless public service. He said the party stands firmly with Pradhan in this decision and extended his best wishes for his future endeavours.
It is noteworthy that amid prolonged protests over the alleged NEET paper leak and mounting pressure from students across the country, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from his post on Saturday.
