New Delhi, 25 July (H.S.): Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke said on Saturday that he has been diagnosed with typhoid, also known as enteric fever, and is undergoing treatment. He shared the update in a post on X.

Dipke wrote that he had been unwell for the past few days and that blood reports had now confirmed typhoid. He said treatment was underway and that he was receiving IV fluids twice a day, in the morning and evening. He also expressed gratitude to his supporters for the peaceful protests being carried out across the country.

It may be noted that Dipke had first said on Thursday that he was unwell and had a high fever. Students, who had gathered in large numbers as part of the agitation, have been demanding the resignation of the Education Minister over irregularities in the education system and the paper leak case.
