
MOSCOW, July 23 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio have agreed to continue contacts between the foreign ministries, including within the framework of international organizations, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.
An agreement has been reached to continue contacts between the foreign ministries, including within the framework of the two countries' participation in the work of international organizations, the ministry said in a statement following their meeting in Manila.
Lavrov and Rubio also discussed the issue of normalizing working conditions of the diplomatic missions of Russia and the United States, the statement read.
“Sergey Lavrov and Marco Rubio welcomed the resumption of full-fledged contacts between the state-owned companies Roscosmos and NASA, and also called for the development of interparliamentary exchanges and cultural ties,“ the ministry added.
