Lucknow, 20 July (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on

Monday conducted a comprehensive review of the major infrastructure, industrial

development, investment, public welfare and service delivery projects being run

in the state in the sixth meeting of the State Transformation Commission.

Giving top priority to the Zero Poverty Campaign in the meeting, the Chief

Minister directed that a special team of the Transformation Commission should

be formed to make Antyodaya cards for eligible families and they should be

linked to all eligible schemes including Ayushman Bharat, Prime Minister and

Chief Minister Housing in a phased manner. He said that the overall benefits of

government schemes should reach every eligible family.

It was informed in the meeting that 12.50 lakh families have

been surveyed under the Zero Poverty Campaign. Of these, about nine lakh

families have been found eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. About

five lakh families are to be benefited through the Chief Minister's Housing

Scheme. Apart from this, 6.67 lakh families do not have Ayushman cards yet. Of

these, about five lakh people have been registered with the Building and Other

Construction Workers Welfare Board. The registration of the remaining eligible

families is being done. Also, a target has been set to connect one member of

10.60 lakh families with skill training.

The meeting was informed that land acquisition for the

state's major expressway projects is progressing rapidly. 88.45 percent of land

has been made available for the Farrukhabad Link Expressway, 72.71 percent for

the Jhansi Link Expressway, 63 percent for the Agra-Lucknow-Purvanchal Link

Expressway, and 59.35 percent for the Jewar Link Expressway. Reviewing all

proposed projects, including the Meerut-Haridwar, Vindhya, Vindhya-Purvanchal,

and Noida-Jewar Link Expressways, the Chief Minister directed the relevant

District Magistrates to ensure land availability by July 31. He urged direct

communication with landowners regarding land-related matters. Reviewing the

Lucknow Night Safari project, it was reported that the Supreme Court granted

permission for its implementation on July 15. The Chief Minister directed that

all formalities be completed expeditiously and the project proceeds in a timely

manner.

During a review of the Multi-Modal Logistics Hub and

Multi-Modal Transport Hub being developed in Greater Noida, the meeting was

informed that 301 hectares of land out of 323 hectares has been acquired. Five

companies have registered for the logistics park, and the allocation process is

moving forward. The Chief Minister directed that all project formalities be

completed in a timely manner. Reviewing the Model Building Bylaws for

Industrial Development Authorities, the Chief Minister said that necessary

amendments should be finalized expeditiously, keeping in mind the ease of doing

business.

During the review of the progress of the textile park being

developed in Lucknow, it was informed that the project's infrastructure is

developing rapidly. The Chief Minister directed to maintain the pace of

construction work and develop it as a major center of the textile and apparel

industry of the state. The meeting also reviewed the Aqua Bridge project of

Unnao and the project providing water supply to the Panki thermal power plant from

the 40 MLD tertiary treatment plant located at Binagawan in Kanpur. The Chief

Minister directed to complete the pending technical and administrative

formalities soon and implement both the projects in a timely manner.

The Chief Minister said that strict adherence to public

safety standards must be ensured alongside infrastructure development. He

directed the review of valid fire NOCs at all government and private medical

colleges, medical institutions, district hospitals, and hotels, and immediate action

where necessary to ensure 100% compliance with fire safety standards.

The meeting also reviewed the status of high-tension power

lines passing over sewer lines and manholes in the Lucknow Municipal

Corporation area. The Chief Minister directed the concerned departments to

coordinate with each other and ensure prompt resolution of all such issues.

While reviewing the power distribution system of the state,

the Chief Minister directed to prepare a corrective action plan based on the

status of power supply, revenue collection, loss-profit and overload by doing a

detailed analysis of all the power feeders. He stressed on giving equal

priority to technical efficiency, financial discipline and consumer

convenience. The progress of land acquisition in Bundelkhand Industrial

Development Authority (BIDA) was also reviewed in the meeting. The Chief

Minister said that there should not be unnecessary delay in administrative

decisions necessary to maintain the pace of industrial development in

Bundelkhand.

Reviewing the use of the District Mining Fund, the Chief

Minister directed that this fund be used for local needs and public welfare

works with transparency and quality. Reviewing development projects approved

from MP and MLA funds, the Chief Minister stated that the works proposed by

public representatives are directly linked to local needs. He directed the District

Magistrates to regularly review these projects and ensure their completion

within the stipulated timeframe.

Reviewing the Per Drop More Crop scheme, the

Chief Minister emphasized the need to make water conservation and

micro-irrigation integral to the agricultural development strategy and directed

coordinated efforts to connect farmers with modern irrigation techniques.

Reviewing the progress of establishing digital libraries in gram panchayats,

the Chief Minister said the objective is to provide rural youth with better

access to quality study materials and digital resources. He directed that this

work be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
