Barabanki, 20 July (HS): In the district of Barabanki,

inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of 82 development projects

costing more than Rs. 542 crore executred by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on

Monday. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, paid a visit to

Barabanki's famed Lodheshwar Mahadev temple. During his visit, he said prayers

and conducted a 'Rudrabhishek'. During the public meeting, he highlighted that

the government is entirely committed to protecting religious history while also

advancing development and creating local jobs.

Addrerssing the gathering, he said, “During the SP-Congress

era, constructing a boundary wall around the cemetery and imposing bans on the

Kanwar Yatra, Ramnavami processions, and Janmashtami celebrations were the benchmarks

of 'secularism'. We must uproot and discard such secularism and move forward

toward building a secure India on the firm ground of Sanatan. If 'Sanatan' is safe, then we all are safe. If

any threat comes upon 'Sanatan', no one will be able to escape.”

“During the time of the Samajwadi Party, the grand mansion

of the great hockey player K. D. Singh Babu had come to the point of being sold

off. We said that their mansion would not be sold; the government would pay the

money and revive their memory. We have also approved the funds for the corridor

of the 'Bhagwan Lodheshwar Mahadev Temple', the symbol of India's heritage and

the identity of Barabanki.. The corridor being built for Lord Lodheshwar

Mahadev. This is the very money that 'those people' used to divert earlier in

the name of the cemetery. This was the socialists' robbery,” he claimed.

“The government's clear principle: The government will work

for every section of society, including the poor, Dalits, deprived, farmers, women,

without discrimination. People of Congress and the Samajwadi Party are staunch

opponents of development, opponents of legacy, opponents of villages and the

poor, and by birth, opponents of farmers, youth, and women. One must remain

vigilant against them,” he opined.

In his 40-minute address, he kept Sanatan at the centre and

targeted the SP government. A corridor of Lodheshwar Mahadev will be built on

the lines of Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Yogi Adityanath pledged to develop the

Mahadeva Corridor like the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, a project that has moved

closer to realization today. The CM said that heritage is the identity of

Sanatan Dharma. Remember, different great men at different times contributed to

the preservation of this heritage and the protection of Sanatan values. Raja

Balbhadra Singh and Lakhan Pasi did this work. Maharaja Bijli Pasi did this to

free the country from slavery. Maharaja Suheldev, Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati

Shivaji Maharaj, and Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj also made similar

contributions. Today, we remember them for their contributions to maintaining

the country's independence.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized the Samajwadi

Party and Congress, saying that his government has honored every great man who

has worked for the country and Sanatan Dharma. The previous government lacked

funds for the development of the Mahadeva and Parijat rivers in Barabanki, or

for the construction of a memorial for KD Singh Babu. They instead

had funds for the development of a cemetery.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that due to the strong

law and order situation in the state, daughters and businessmen are safe. We

cannot compromise on their security. He accused the opposition of caste

politics and appeasement. The Chief Minister said that while previous

governments prioritized corruption in development work and neglect of cultural

heritage, we are the opposite. He paid tribute to the region's luminaries,

including Raja Balbhadra Singh Chahlari, KD Singh Babu, and Flight Lieutenant

Shankar Dayal Shukla.

Earlier, UP CM posted on X, “Blessed by the grace of

'Lordsheshwar Mahadev', the sacred land at the center of the faith of countless

devotees, in the Ramanagar and Dariyabad Assembly constituencies of Barabanki

district, 82 development projects costing more than Rs. 542 crore will be

inaugurated, foundation laid today. This new development journey of Barabanki

will further strengthen public trust, give new momentum to public welfare, and

infuse new energy into the resolve of 'Developed Uttar Pradesh'.”
