Lucknow, 20 July (HS): Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, expressed pride in Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's Yogi ki Pati. Agarwal said that under the Chief Minister's leadership, youth trained by the Skill Development Department are becoming self-reliant and a pillar of the state's development. This letter will inspire them to work harder and encourage more youth to pursue training diligently.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said through 'Yogi Ki Pati', youth power of the state, by connecting with skills, will pave the way for the creation of a developed Uttar Pradesh and a one trillion dollar economy.

The Chief Minister attributed this belief to the values of Sanatan culture, which prioritizes work and skill, exemplified by the construction of Ram Setu in the Ramayana. He cited Hema Ji of Sonbhadra, who, with the help of the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission, transformed her furniture business, started with Rs. 20,000, into a turnover of lakhs.

The Chief Minister stated that over the past nine years, the Yogi government has transformed Uttar Pradesh into the Skill State by integrating traditional skills and modern technology. The launch of 'Kaushal Setu' and 'Kaushal Saarthi' symbolize this commitment. The state is establishing itself as an IT, electronics, and AI hub, and the One District, One Product scheme has given traditional skills global recognition.

The Tech Yuva - Samarth Yuva initiative is connecting the next generation with future technologies, the Chief Minister's Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign is transforming skills into the power of self-employment and entrepreneurship. Project Praveen provides students with free vocational skills training alongside regular education, and the Skills for Zero Poverty initiative is empowering one member of a poor family with skills to become self-reliant.

The Chief Minister urged the youth to acquire proficiency in some skill along with academic education, so that they can become not only job seekers but also job providers. He said that the MSME sector alone has created employment opportunities for about 4 crore youth. He urged the youth to learn at least one skill and take active part in the progress of the society and the state, and urged the benefited youth to share the information with other friends. He stressed that skill is the basis of self-reliance, the support of self-respect and the biggest asset of the state moving on the path of development.
