Jorhat (Assam), 20 July (HS): An IndiGo flight scheduled to operate from Jorhat to Kolkata was cancelled on Monday after a technical fault was detected just before take-off.

According to reports, passengers onboard IndiGo flight 6E 6153 were asked to deboard after the airline identified a mechanical issue during pre-departure checks.

The flight was subsequently cancelled as a safety precaution. Initial information indicates that the aircraft reportedly developed a fuel leak from one of its engines. No injuries or untoward incidents were reported and all passengers were safely evacuated from the aircraft. Authorities are assessing the technical fault before the aircraft is cleared for service.-----------
