Nagpur, 20 July

(HS): Six people will killed when a car was hit by a good transport vehicle

from behind. The can immediately caught fire and four occupants of the car were

charred to death. Two other travelling in the goods transport vehicle were also

killed in the accidents which occurred near Virul village in Wardha district on

Samruddhi Mahamarg in the early hours on Monday.

Four traveller

in the car could not escape as the doors were locked due to accident and the

car caught fire immediately after the accident. One other person was injured in

the accident.

The deceased

were identified as Eicher truck driver Sanjay Kumar (30) and conductors

Samarjit Pal (24), both from Uttar Pradesh; Janhavi Ramesh Tiple (21), Sushama

Rajesh Tiple, Rahesh Anandrao Tiple and Ankush Raut, all residents of Sillod

Hirapur in Wardha District.

The bodies were

sent to Wardha District Hospital for the post-mortem.

Further investigation was in progress.

According to preliminary

information, an ethanol truck met with an accident on the road. As a security

measure traffic on one site of the express highway was closed. The good

transport trcu lost control over the vehicle while mitigating traffic on one

site of the highway and hit the car.

The traffic on

the road was temporarily affected due to the accidents and restored after the ill-fated

vehicles were shifted.
