New Delhi, 20 July (H.S.):

The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced its new organisational team, bringing in a major reshuffle in the state unit. Under the leadership of Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra, the new team includes 10 vice-presidents, three general secretaries, one treasurer, nine secretaries, one office secretary and one joint office secretary.

The party has also announced the names of heads for various departments, including media, IT and different organisational fronts (morchas).

According to the announcement made by Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra, the appointments have been made after approval from BJP National President Nitin Nabin and consultations with the national leadership. The party said the changes were aimed at strengthening the organisational structure of the Delhi unit.

The newly appointed Delhi BJP Vice-Presidents are Rajesh Bhatia, Sunil Yadav, Richa Pandey Mishra, Kaushal Mishra, Sarika Jain, Vinod Bacheti, Bikram Bidhuri, Ranjit Kashyap, Sona Kumari and Vijay Solanki.

The newly appointed State General Secretaries are Vishnu Mittal, Yogita Singh and Mohan Lal Girha, while Satish Garg has been appointed as the State Treasurer.

The new State Secretaries include Gaurav Khari, Naresh Vashisht, Rohit Chahal, Manoj Kumar Jatav, Abhishek Tandon, Krishna Dev Singh (Krishna), Raj Gautam, Praveena Sharma and Gurmeet Singh Sura.

Kailash Jain has been appointed as the Office Secretary, while Amit Kumar Gupta has been appointed as the Joint Office Secretary.

In the media and communication wing, Praveen Shankar Kapoor has been appointed as the Media Head, Dr Anil Gupta as the Chief Spokesperson, Shubhendu Shekhar Awasthi as the Media Relations Head, Dr Rohit Upadhyay as the Social Media Head and Puneet Agrawal as the IT Head.

The party has also announced the presidents of its various state-level morchas. Rajat Chaudhary has been appointed as the Yuva Morcha President, Archana Gupta as the Mahila Morcha President, Santosh Pal as the OBC Morcha President, Lajpat Rai as the Scheduled Caste Morcha President, C.L. Meena as the Scheduled Tribe Morcha President, Santosh Ojha as the Purvanchal Morcha President, Devendra Solanki as the Kisan Morcha President and Anees Abbasi as the Minority Morcha President.
