Lucknow, 02 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh BJP President Pankaj

Chaudhary has vowed that whoever found guilty in the Ram Mandir donation

misappropriation scandal would face penalties. Despite opposition parties'

criticism, the Yogi Adityanath administration has constituted a Special

Investigation Team (SIT) to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the

matter. The debate has been fueled by accusations of political exploitation.

Against the backdrop of rising political tensions, Uttar Pradesh BJP President

Pankaj Chaudhary underlined the government's resolve to bringing individuals

responsible for the alleged misappropriation of Ram Mandir funds accountable.

Chaudhary told reporters that the establishment of a Special Investigation Team

(SIT) demonstrates the Yogi Adityanath administration's determination to

conduct a thorough investigation into the situation.

Chaudhary stressed the opposition's role in examining

government policies, but also stated that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

promptly created the SIT after learning of the charges. He stated that eight

people have already been detained, and with an increased investigation

schedule, the SIT intends to properly investigate all elements of the case.

The claims have sparked a heated political conflict, with opposition figures

such as Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party and Arvind Kejriwal of the Aam

Aadmi Party accusing the BJP of using religious feelings for political gain. As

the SIT's investigation proceeds, officials have extended the investigation

window to guarantee a thorough review.
