Guwahati, 02 July (HS): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday met Union Minister Kiren Rijiju in New Delhi and discussed flood relief, rehabilitation and recovery efforts in the state. Sarma thanked the Union Minister for his recent visit to Assam to review the flood situation and said the double-engine government would intensify rehabilitation measures to restore the livelihoods of affected people. Rijiju praised the Assam government's proactive handling of the monsoon floods and reaffirmed the Centre's support for relief and long-term recovery efforts.------------
