Lucknow, 19 July (HS): On Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath will open the Uttar Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority's

newly built headquarters. The new headquarters, which cost more than Rs 200

crore to build, has been designed as a cutting-edge disaster management facility

with sophisticated amenities. The facility is home to a State Emergency

Operations Center that operates 24/7. The facility includes a contemporary

theater with seating capacity for over 200 people, classrooms, a lecture hall,

a dormitory, and a library. In addition, a Digital Command, Control, and

Coordination Center has been built to bolster the state's disaster management

system. The State Disaster Management Authority's new headquarters facility,

located near the Dial-112 headquarters on Shaheed Path in Lucknow, will be

opened during the program.

In a post on X, UP CM mentioned, “Today, Uttar Pradesh's

disaster management system is set to gain new momentum and a new direction. The

inauguration of the new headquarters building of the Uttar Pradesh State

Disaster Management Authority, constructed at a cost exceeding Rs. 200 crore,

will empower the state's disaster management system with modern technology,

better coordination, and swift response capabilities. Equipped with modern

infrastructure and effective coordination, this new headquarters will further

strengthen the resolve for a 'Secure Uttar Pradesh'.”
