
New Delhi, 12 July (H.S.): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday organised a Sunderkand recital at the Japanese Park in Rohini, attended by the party's National Convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Delhi unit Convenor Saurabh Bharadwaj.
Addressing a press conference on the occasion, Kejriwal said devotees of Lord Ram across India and abroad were deeply hurt by the alleged theft of offerings at the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He said he had written to the Prime Minister seeking strict action against those responsible for the alleged incident.
Kejriwal further announced the launch of a signature campaign demanding stringent punishment for the accused.
He added that following the Sunderkand recital, devotees of Lord Ram pledged not to rest until those responsible for the alleged theft were brought to justice and given strict punishment.
