
Lucknow, 07 July (HS): In compliance with the Uttar Pradesh
government's directives, the Department of Vocational Education, Skill
Development, and Entrepreneurship is conducting a massive tree-planting
campaign at ITI institutes across the state to ensure the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam
program is a success. In this sequence, a tree-planting program will be
organized on July 12, 2026, at the Government Industrial Training Institute,
Aliganj, Lucknow, under the leadership of MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora.
Raj Kumar Yadav, Principal of Government ITI Aliganj, stated
that on July 12, in the presence of MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora, all the institute's
executives, instructors, staff, and trainees will plant One Tree in the
Name of Mother. He explained that Lucknow district has been allocated a
tree planting target of 3.9 million trees, but the institute will plant more
than the allotted target.
