Basti, 10 July (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on
Friday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 77 development projects
worth Rs. 504.34 crore in the Harraiya and Kaptanganj assembly constituencies
of Basti. At a ceremony marking the occasion, the Chief Minister called the Samajwadi
Party (SP) and Congress anti-Sanatan (eternal) and demanded that the Samajwadi
Party apologize for firing on Ram devotees.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Harraiya on Friday
after Ayodhya. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development
projects totaling Rs. 504.34 crore. In the Harraiya Assembly constituency, he
laid the foundation stone for 22 new projects worth Rs. 85.54 crore and
inaugurated 30 projects worth Rs. 275.76 crore. In the Kaptanganj Assembly
constituency, he laid the foundation stone for 8 projects worth Rs. 62.08 crore
and inaugurated 17 completed projects worth Rs. 80.96 crore. After unveiling
these development projects, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that these
development projects will accelerate the pace of development in Harraiya and
Kaptanganj. Prior to 2017, these areas were neglected and no development work
was undertaken. However, under the double-engine government, infrastructure is
rapidly improving. He listed his government's achievements in every sector.
Calling the Samajwadi Party and the Congress
anti-development, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that both are anti-Ram
and anti-Constitution. When these parties were in power, the poor were looted,
and development projects fell prey to corruption. He said that while they are
talking about the Ram Temple today, both parties have always worked against the
Ram Temple and Sanatan Dharma. The Samajwadi Party, which opened fire on Ram
devotees, should now apologize. The SP should apologize for stopping the Kanwar
Yatra and Panchkoshi Parikrama. But now, in Ram Rajya, neither the Kanwar Yatra
is stopped nor is temple money being spent on the construction of graveyards.
He said that along with development works in Harraiya and
Kaptanganj, a large amount of money has been approved for the development of
religious sites, and the government will not allow any harm to come to Sanatan
Dharma. He said that before 2017, law and order was so poor that
daughters-in-law and daughters were afraid to leave their homes. Traders were
not safe, but now the state's law and order is strong and criminals have been
brought to justice.
