with govt-private ITI and Tata Tech: Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal
Lucknow, 07 July (HS): Giving impetus to Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath's resolve of 'Skill to every hand, employment to every skill', the
online application process for the training session 2026-27 in the state's
government and private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) is starting from
July 11, 2026. Candidates will be able to apply by visiting the website
http://www.scvtup.in till 12 midnight of August 04, 2026.
Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge)
for Vocational Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, stated that
the Yogi government has modernized technical education to meet the demands of
industry. This semester, candidates will be able to enroll in all the trades
offered at government and private ITIs, as well as 10 new long-term trades
being offered at 211 government institutions in collaboration with Tata
Technologies. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar
Pradesh's ITIs are no longer just training centers, but are becoming a
guarantee of employment.
Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal appealed to the youth to apply in
large numbers and become partners in realizing Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's
dream of a self-reliant Uttar Pradesh. He said that under the Yogi
government, millions of ITI graduates are now finding respectable employment.
Abhishek Singh, Executive Director and Special Secretary of
the State Vocational Training Council, stated that for admission, candidates
must click on the admission link provided on the website http://www.scvtup.in. Before
applying online, they must verify their mobile number via OTP and pay the fee
after filling out the form. The admission fee is Rs. 300 for general/backward
class candidates, Rs. 250 for Scheduled Castes/Tribes, and Rs. 100 for all
