SIT visits Ram Temple again

Lucknow, 01 July (HS): Allegations have surfaced of a

massive Rs 20,000 crore scam at Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Ramgopal Yadav, the

National General Secretary of the Samajwadi Party, has accused numerous

high-profile persons of embezzling expensive metals and gems provided by devotees.

An FIR filed on June 25 sparked significant investigations, and authorities expanded

their reach to seek the facts. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been

granted a 15-day extension to undertake a full investigation into the suspected

misbehavior. Officials pledge to conduct a thorough inquiry to ensure that no

guilty party escapes prosecution.

The departure of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust's General Secretary Champat Rai and

trustee Anil Mishra, who acknowledged moral responsibility for the alleged theft,

has changed the situation dramatically. This development came after the Uttar

Pradesh police conducted a thorough investigation, resulting in the accused

being remanded in judicial custody.
