Guwahati, 01 July (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday extended heartfelt greetings to doctors on the occasion of National Doctors' Day, praising their selfless service and dedication to saving lives.

In a message shared on social media, the Chief Minister said doctors often put their own lives at risk to protect the lives of others. He described them as the foundation of a healthy nation and a strong society.

Dr. Sarma also stressed that supporting and cooperating with doctors in the interest of public service is the moral responsibility of every citizen. He expressed gratitude to the medical fraternity for its unwavering commitment to healthcare and public welfare.-----------
