
Nashik, 03 June (HS): Nashik police have named
former MP Syed Imtiaz Jaleel of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslmeen (AIMIM)
in the TCS Nashik case related to illegal conversions and sexual exploitation. His
name in the list of accused stirred the political circles.
Imtiaz Jaleel, who is on Haj pilgrimage, when connected
said he not aware of the development. He, however, is ready for any kind of
enquiry in the case. He accepted that he met the family members of the victim.
The Special Investigation Team has submitted a 3,500
page charge sheet to the court. Investigation started following the first
complaint filed at Devlali Camp Police Station in Nashik. The main accused Nida
Khan was eluding arrest after his anticipatory bail application was rejected,
but was later arrested. AIMIM’s former corporator Matin Patel had helped her in
hiding. During interrogation Patel named Jaleel, after which Jaleel’s name was
included in the charge sheet.
