External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, accompanied by Mongolia's Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Gongor Damdinyam, on Tuesday visited the construction site of the Mongol Refinery Project in Mongolia and reviewed the progress of the ongoing work.
Sharing the update on X, Dr. Jaishankar said, The work on this highly significant project, which stands as a symbol of the India-Mongolia Strategic Partnership and friendship, is progressing at a remarkable pace.
During the visit, the External Affairs Minister held meetings with various teams associated with the project and reviewed the work completed so far.
Dr. Jaishankar also interacted with Indian and Mongolian personnel working at the refinery project site. He commended their dedication, hard work, and commitment towards ensuring the timely completion of such a large and complex project despite challenging conditions.
