
New Delhi, 23 June (H.S.): The 36th Board Meeting of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB), chaired by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday, took an important decision regarding the rehabilitation of slum settlements in the national capital.
According to the government, it was decided during the meeting that eligible residents of all slum clusters that existed in Delhi until January 1, 2025, will be entitled to rehabilitation benefits. The government believes that the decision will provide significant relief to a large number of slum dwellers.
The objective of the decision is to provide better housing facilities to people living in slum settlements and to improve their overall standard of living.
