Mumbai, 22 June (HS): “Under the successful leadership of Prime

Minister Narendra Modi ji, the guidance of Union Home and Cooperation Minister

remarked Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. CM Devendra Fadnavis itinerary

kicked off with meeting Legislative Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narwekar on the

first day of the ‘Monsoon Session 2026’.

Later, Devendra Fadnavis humbly offered floral tributes and

took blessings of the greatest King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Vidhan

Bhavan in Mumbai, before the start of 'Monsoon Session 2026'. DCM Eknath

Shinde, DCM Sunetra Ajit Pawar and other colleagues were present. CM Devendra

Fadnavis met Maharashtra Legislative Council Chairman Prof. Ram Shinde on the

first day of 'Monsoon Session 2026'.

Supplementary Demands for 2026–2027 were tabled in the

House. The Maharashtra Government Servants Regulation of Transfer and

Prevention of Delay in Discharge of Official Duties Ordinance, 2026 and The

Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act were also tabled in the

house. Jai Jai Maharashtra Majha, Garja Maharashtra Majha! The inspiring tunes

of the state anthem mark the beginning of the Maharashtra Legislature's

'Monsoon Session 2026'. Newly elected members of the Legislative Council were introduced

to the house.
