part of your daily life: Yogendra Upadhyay
Lucknow, 21 June (HS): Under the vision of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi of World Welfare through Yoga and the resolution of
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for a healthy and strong Uttar Pradesh, State
Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay participated as the chief guest in
the mass yoga practice program organized at the Police Line Ground in Firozabad
district on the occasion of the 12th International Yoga Day on Sunday and
practiced yoga.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, the Higher
Education Minister said that due to the tireless efforts of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi, yoga has now transcended India's borders and is being adopted in
more than 190 countries. Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient Sanatan
tradition, which paves the way for the welfare of all humanity. He said that
the Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath, is committed to ensuring the health of every citizen. Yoga has been
made a part of the curriculum in all universities and colleges in the state, so
that the younger generation can become physically, mentally, and intellectually
empowered.
Minister Yogendra Upadhyaya stated that yoga is not merely a
physical exercise, but the fundamental foundation of a healthy body, a calm
mind, and a balanced life. It provides discipline, concentration, and positive
energy. He urged everyone to pledge on this Yoga Day to make yoga an integral
part of their daily lives, keeping their bodies healthy, their minds calm, and
their lives energetic. With positive energy, they will contribute invaluably to
the creation of a Developed India - Developed Uttar Pradesh.
