
New Delhi, 02 June (H.S.): On the occasion of Telangana Formation Day, the President, Vice President, Lok Sabha Speaker, Union Ministers, and Chief Ministers of various states extended their greetings to the people of Telangana, wishing the state continued progress, prosperity, and a bright future.
President Droupadi Murmu congratulated the people of Telangana in a post on X, stating that the state is endowed with a rich cultural heritage and hardworking citizens. She noted that Telangana has achieved remarkable progress in the fields of innovation and development and expressed her wishes for the continued welfare and advancement of its people.
Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan said that Telangana is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and vibrant traditions. He observed that the creativity, innovation, diligence, and resilience of the state's people have made significant contributions to the nation’s development. He described the occasion as an inspiration for collective efforts toward building a developed India.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla described Telangana as a state with a distinct cultural identity, vibrant traditions, and natural beauty. He said that the Formation Day symbolizes the state's journey of development and achievements and wished the people continued progress, harmony, and prosperity.
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said that Telangana enjoys a unique identity owing to its vibrant culture and entrepreneurial spirit. Wishing the state continued growth and prosperity, he expressed confidence that its achievements would further enhance India's pride.
Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar congratulated the people of Telangana and said that the state, enriched with a glorious heritage and natural beauty, should continue advancing on the path of development and progress. He wished happiness, prosperity, and well-being for all its citizens.
Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan highlighted Telangana’s unique art, culture, rich heritage, and natural beauty while extending his greetings. He expressed hope that the state would continue moving steadily on the path of growth and that prosperity and happiness would reach every household.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge described Telangana Formation Day as a historic milestone in India’s democratic journey. He said that the creation of the state was the result of the struggles, sacrifices, and aspirations of millions of people. Paying tribute to the martyrs of the Telangana movement, he added that the Congress government is working to realize the vision of “Prajala Telangana” (People’s Telangana).
