NEW DELHI, June 2 (H.S.): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday conducted search operations at multiple premises linked to the Vedanta Group in connection with an alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

ED teams have been carrying out searches at various locations associated with the Vedanta Group since the morning. During the operation, officials are examining documents and digital evidence as part of the ongoing investigation. The search proceedings were continuing at the time of reporting.

According to sources, the action has been undertaken in connection with an ongoing probe into alleged violations of FEMA regulations. Investigators are scrutinising financial records and other relevant materials to ascertain whether any breaches of foreign exchange laws have occurred.
