
Lucknow, 18 June (HS): On Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath will pay visits to Unnao and Kanpur. He will begin his journey with
a public gathering in Unnao for inauguration and foundation stone laying of 101
development projects costing more than Rs. 570 crore, followed by a stop in
Kanpur for other events. The district administration and officials from several
agencies stepped up their efforts after learning about the Chief Minister's
itinerary. The chief minister will first attend the Natural Farming conference
at Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology (CSA) in
Kanpur. The conference will focus on promoting natural farming, increasing
farmers' income, and transitioning to chemical-free agriculture. The
agricultural department and university administration have ensured
no-holds-barred preparations for the occasion.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister will undertake a review of
Public Works Department (PWD) projects and assess the progress of road
building, bridge projects, and other infrastructure initiatives. Officials will
deliver information on the present state of these projects.The CM will lay the
groundwork for many development initiatives in the Govind Nagar and Kalyanpur
areas. In preparation for the CM's visit, district magistrate Jitendra Pratap
Singh called a meeting with authorities to go over security, traffic, and other
logistics.
Chief Minister shared his itinerary via a post on X, “Today,
the land of pen and revolution, Unnao, will bear witness to new heights of
development, while the revolutionary land of Kanpur will witness new resolves
for honoring and prospering the food providers. In Unnao, there will be the
inauguration and foundation stone laying of 101 development projects costing
more than Rs. 570 crore, and in Kanpur, there will be the opportunity for
dialogue with farmer brothers at the 'Natural Farming Workshop-2026' and for
honoring outstanding food providers. This combined journey of development and
agricultural prosperity will infuse new energy into the resolve for a
'Developed Uttar Pradesh'.”
