United States Ambassador to India Sergio Gor met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Thursday, and the two leaders held detailed discussions on various aspects of further strengthening security cooperation between India and the United States.
In a post on social media platform X, Home Minister Amit Shah said he held extensive discussions with Ambassador Sergio Gor on enhancing India-US cooperation, particularly in the areas of counter-terrorism and combating narcotics trafficking.
Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India remains committed to advancing the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. He expressed confidence that the growing bilateral relationship between the two countries would deliver tangible benefits to the people of both India and the United States.
