Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, along with several other leaders, on Thursday paid heartfelt tributes to K.S. Sudarshan, the fifth Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), on his birth anniversary, and to the legendary Queen of Jhansi, Rani Lakshmibai, on her martyrdom day.

In a post on X, Gadkari said, Humble salutations to K.S. Sudarshan, the fifth Sarsanghchalak of the RSS, on his birth anniversary. On the martyrdom day of the embodiment of unmatched courage, valour and patriotism, Rani Lakshmibai, I pay my deepest respects. The sacrifice of the Queen of Jhansi, who laid down her life in defence of the motherland, will always be remembered.

Union Minister for Textiles Giriraj Singh said that Sudarshan's life, dedicated to nation-building and service to society, would continue to inspire generations.

Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Sudarshan had a deep interest in indigenous and traditional knowledge related to rural development, agriculture, cattle rearing, and energy. He noted that Sudarshan not only guided society in the right direction but also examined issues at their root and offered thoughtful and practical solutions.

Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Virendra Kumar said that Sudarshan's inspiring life, devoted to the service of the nation and society, would remain a model for future generations.

Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Pralhad Joshi said that with her indomitable courage and unwavering resolve to defend the motherland, Rani Lakshmibai became an enduring symbol of India's spirit of resistance. Paying tribute on her martyrdom day, he said her bravery, leadership, and supreme sacrifice continue to inspire generations of Indians, and her immortal legacy remains a source of immense pride for the nation.
