Lucknow, 17 June (HS): In a program organized in Lucknow for

the distribution of appointment letters to 930 selected Computer Operators

(Grade-A) by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Uttar

Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

on Wednesday issued a stern warning to rioters, claiming their seven

generations will forget how to riot.

In Lucknow, CM Yogi Adityanath handed over appointment

letters to 930 Computer Operators (Grade-A) selected by the Uttar Pradesh

Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. The program was organized in the Lok

Bhavan auditorium. On this occasion, CM Yogi said that in the last 09 years, UP

Police has worked at a fast pace to achieve the goal of good governance. Today,

UP Police is an example of model policing. He told the selected candidates to

ask their parents and teachers what the situation was before 2017. There used

to be riots every other month. There used to be disturbances before festivals.

In Moradabad, one of our DIG rank officers was brutally beaten by the rioters.

They left him thinking he was dead.

Seven generations of rioters will forget how to riot: The CM

further said that people in Uttar Pradesh had stopped imagining that their

daughters would be safe. However, we were watching all these incidents. After

coming to power, all those rioters have been punished so severely that their

seven generations will forget how to riot. Previously, we had training

facilities for 30,000 cops; today, we have training facilities for 60,000 police

personnels.

Earlier, the bhaijaan used to suppress the files: CM - He

said that previously, there were dilapidated barracks, where police personnel

lived. After all, they too faced heat, cold, and rain. Today, there are

barracks with the tallest buildings. Today, Uttar Pradesh is no longer

functioning, it is running. Previously, people used to suppress criminal files

so thoroughly that they could never be opened. Today, we have established

commissionerates in seven districts. Those who lack information question this

system.

The CM further said that earlier there were forensic labs in

only four districts. Today there are forensic labs in 12 districts. Every

district has a forensic van. There are three vans in the big districts and two

vans in the small districts. Today there are cyber police stations in every

district. Today the UP Police have become renowned in the country. Now no one

points a finger at the police. In this era, nothing can remain hidden from

anyone. Earlier there was a crisis of identity. When you people used to go

abroad for jobs, you could not reveal your identity.

Now UP is not at the bottom but at the top: CM - The CM said

that more than 9 lakh government jobs have been provided. Previously, there

were a total of 14,000 large factories in Uttar Pradesh. In these nine years,

their number has increased to more than 32,000. Now, no one will need any kind

of recommendation. As computer operators, the same expectations will be placed

on you. Uttar Pradesh is no longer a sick state. Uttar Pradesh is among the top

three economies in the country. In any central government scheme, Uttar Pradesh

now ranks at the top, not at the bottom.

He said that many people make reels while on duty, which is

an example of indiscipline. We should not do anything that makes us a

laughingstock. We should not give anyone an opportunity to point fingers.
