Lucknow, 17 June (HS): Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of

Uttar Pradesh in a program organized in Lucknow for the distribution of

appointment letters to 930 selected Computer Operators (Grade-A) by the Uttar

Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board said, “Under the fair and

transparent recruitment process, @upprpb distributed appointment letters to the

newly selected 930 Computer Operators (Grade-A) in Lucknow today. These

individuals are set to play a significant role as digital warriors in smart

policing. It is with full confidence that all these computer operators will

faithfully and honestly fulfill their duties towards their department, state,

and country. Heartiest congratulations to all and best wishes for a bright

future.”

He futher said, “Many people keep making Reels during duty, which

is indiscipline. The tendency to procrastinate must stop. If we had also

procrastinated like the previous governments, these 2.2 lakh recruitments could

not have happened solely in the Uttar Pradesh Police. The work we have done to

bring transparency within Uttar Pradesh has yielded its results in the recruitment

commission and board. Those who lack information about police reform, point

fingers at the police commissionerate system. @Uppolice is topping the charts

today. In the last 9 years, recruitment of over 2.25 lakh police personnel has

taken place. No recommendations in the recruitment processes, no

discrimination. In the year 2017, in Uttar Pradesh. Every second or third day,

on average, there would be a riot, and curfews would last for months on end.
